Our Parent Teacher Organization, or PTO, is another way for staff and parents to actively work together as a team. Parents volunteer as room parents to organize/chair fundraising events and are a great source for continuous evaluation for the school. One staff person sits on this committee to help with parent/staff communications. Through our PTO, all parents have an opportunity to be active in various roles. The PTO is open to all parents regardless of synagogue membership. Ten hours of volunteer time is required of each family, and can be earned in many different ways. More information will be provided at or following the 1st PTO meeting.
Our PTO is an amazing group of parents who support, volunteer, and raise money for the school by holding events such as monthly bake sales and an annual gala.
Funds raised from PTO events this year have paid for a brand new playground, the beautiful garden, and fun events like Kids Shabbat at Bedtime, Grandparents Kids Shabbat, and Shabbat in the Garden.
