It is Temple Beth Am's policy not to associate photos with individuals by name ("tag" photos), however, we cannot prevent other parties
from tagging photos posted to Temple Beth Am - Jupiter, FL on Facebook. It is the policy of Temple Beth Am to secure written or verbal permission of the individual (or parents/legal guardians of minors) before publishing images of individuals or making these images available for third party publication.
Temple Beth Am keeps track of the Web sites and pages our customers visit within Temple Beth Am, in order to determine what Temple Beth Am services are the most popular. Temple Beth Am Social Media Policy
Social media are important tools for attracting new members to Temple Beth Am, maintaining relationships with and among current members, and promoting a sense of community among the various constituencies from both within and outside the congregation. The following are appropriate and desirable uses for TBA’s social media platforms:
- Advertising and registration/sign-up for upcoming congregational events
- Advertising and registration/sign-up for upcoming events by TBA auxiliary organizations
- Posting photos from the events described above
- Providing feedback from TBA members, potential members and the others to lay leadership and staff
- Promoting involvement in other worthwhile causes
- Providing information on resources that may be useful to our members, potential members and friends (e.g. PJ Library, JFCS programs)
- Providing potential members with an informal source of information about our congregation
In order to maintain the integrity of TBA’s social media platforms and keep them attractive to users, it is important that only the activities described above be permitted on these sites. Any activity that does not conform to this list can be removed from the website at the discretion of the Board or Temple Administrator.
