Youth Group

JAMTY • JAMTY JR • COCHAVIM

Temple Beth Am has three vibrant youth groups. Programs include a variety of social, religious, cultural to social action events designed to provide Jewish young people the opportunity to form friendships in a fun and safe environment that will foster their connection to Judaism and their community. Students in the Religious School are automatically members of our Youth Groups. Youth do not have to be a member of Temple Beth Am to join any of our youth groups, so invite your friends to join us for a great year of ahead of us!

JAMTY (9th-12th grades)

JAMTY (9th - 12th grade) JAMTY is led by a board of emerging young leaders who plan and implement programs for their peers. JAMTY hosts a variety of exciting events and innovative programs including Thursday night lounge nights, lock-ins, beach clean-ups, and more! JAMTY is affiliated with NFTY STR, North American Federation of Temple Youth – Southern Tropical Region. Teens from all over NFTY STR get together for Kallot (Conventions) throughout the year. These incredible weekends, along with JAMTY’s own programs, are aimed to bring together teens in a fun, social, educational manner to build a sense of community.

JAMTY JR (6th-8th grades)

JAMTY Jr. (6th - 8th grade) JAMTY Jr. features a variety of events such as lounge nights, lock-ins, bowling, and other great social events throughout the year! JAMTY Jr. is invited to attend NFTY’s Hatikvah Kallah, which is geared towards 6th – 8th graders. This is a great opportunity to meet other youth throughout the region and get a taste of what is to come when they begin to attend NFTY Kallot in high school.

COCHAVIM (3rd-5th grades)

COCHAVIM (3rd - 5th grade) Cochavim is Hebrew for “Stars”. Fun and exciting programs gives members the opportunity to spend time with their friends in a creative and Jewish environment.
