Shalom Chai is the place to be on Tuesday nights! It’s where exciting social and educational programs await you. Shalom Chai is open to all Jewish teens 8th – 12th grade.
Shalom Chai is more than just classes. It’s about being with friends, learning new things, and making a difference. From the moment you join us at Shalom Chai, you’re in store for an incredible experience every week.
Why Shalom Chai?
All parents hope that their children will become active members of the Jewish community when they become adults. Continuing Jewish education through high school provides teens with a strong Jewish identity and connection to the Jewish people that remain with them the rest of their life.
To provide our teens with a meaningful educational experience that incorporates the diversity and depth of Jewish learning, culture, and faith, and empowers them to shape the future of the Jewish community.
To expose our students to a positive environment where they are encouraged to look at the world through a fresh Jewish lens, via creative expression and innovative courses.
To enable teens to take the traditions they learned in religious school and apply that knowledge to their high school years and beyond.
Shalom Chai give teens a deeper connection as they move out into the wider world, and the gift of friends who share the same joys, struggles, and Jewish values. These are the advantages of continuing your supplementary education through Shalom Chai.
