The Judith and Jack Rosenberg Mentoring 4 Kids program is part of the Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS). Since 1998, M4K has been working to achieve a healthy future for the children in our community. Our program serves children between the ages of 6-14 who have lost a significant caregiver through death or divorce. We provide children with adult mentors who provide unconditional friendship and support to help fill the void. It is a free, non-sectarian program for children and teens, that helps fill a void in the child’s life and strengthens the family.
Spend time together. Play sports. Go on a hike. Eat a pizza with everything on it. Whatever it is you enjoy, you’ll enjoy it even more as a volunteer mentor to a child growing up in a single-parent home. For more information click here to visit the JFCS website.
If you are interested in volunteering or know a child who would benefit from having a mentor, please contact Pam Cohen, M.S., M4K Outreach Coordinator, at PCohen@jfcsonline.com or call 561-238-0281.
